Hey Fashion Industry: Can you Make Clothes that hold our phones?!

The constant “Clack” of cellphones falling from pockets is ruining life’s special moments.

“I now pronounce you — ” Clack! “The most important lesson is — ” Clack! In a library. Clack! In a doctor’s waiting room. Clack! Listening to the priest’s sermon on Sunday, “And Jesus said, — ” Clack-clack-clack!” There is no peace left anywhere in the world because the fashion industry is too cheap to make clothes that hold cellphones.

Gobs of people are showing up at solemn events and the second someone with a cell in their pocket decides to cross or uncross a leg, you know what happens! Their cell slams to the floor. The last play I went to, it must’ve happened twenty-five times. The last movie, it seemed like one hundred.

Many of you are probably thinking it is also the nerve of some people, taking out their phone at a baptism. That ship has sailed. This generation has had a phone since their tiny hands could grab a Cheerio, so their phone is part of their appendage. Accept when it must go in a pocket, cause, you know, a funeral is starting. Clack!

Fashion Industry I am begging you to make pockets that accommodate the Big Phones. This means taking the time to design clothes that work for people’s daily…
